Our mission at Fundamental Futbol Academy is to provide high level training with a focus on the fundamentals to build a complete futbol player at any level!
Our philosophy has been built on years of experience and knowledge at the highest levels of the game to be able to develop a curriculum that provides results and improvements to any level of player.
Our clinics and sessions are catered specific to the players we are working with to ensure we achieve the highest results. Whether it be a beginner or a professional, our focus is always on the PLAYER FIRST!
By creating an atmosphere that is game like, it allows our players to not only thrive in the individual skills and in training, but be able to apply it in matches!
Meet Our Training Director
Coach Julian, born and raised in New Jersey, began playing at a young age under the guidance of his father, Coach Julio, who played professional in Portugal for many years.
As a youth player Julian went on to win State Cups, along with numerous Regional and National Tournaments. After a successful youth career, he then had the opportunity to continue his journey at William Paterson University. At William Paterson, his success continued as he achieved recognitions such as being named First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Region in multiple years. In his final year of college he went on to be named Midfielder of the Year and William Paterson’s first ever First Team All-American. In 2017 he was inducted into the William Paterson University Hall of Fame.
Following graduation he continued his journey playing with various clubs, while also finding a stronger passion for teaching and coaching. After working with multiple clubs as a Coach and Trainer at all age groups (youth, high school, college, professional), he decided to start his own journey of Fundamental Futbol Academy.
